I think I have allergies..no scratchy throat..Winter is my worst time for allergies.. I just need to take decongestants, a bendryl and "get over" my lack of energy.

I found some hummingbird cake in the freezer and think it is going to make me all better when it thaws!..LOL

I can't see it on my dinosuar computer..Need my SIL's computer back! Despite my loggy head and dinosur computer..it is good to be home.

. I have lured some birds back and a squirrel ..I like one squirrel instead of the usual 4 to 6..They shovel up the food like a vacuum.

Oh, gee I wish you could see the presentation-it's gorgeous! Squirrels, I stopped feeding the birds long ago, it was feeding the squirrels.

We have so many of them in the neighborhood.

Yup, there's no place like home. ;)

HUMOR

The US has succeeded in building a super computer able to solve any
strategic or tactical problem. Military leaders are assembled in front of
the new machine and instructed to feed a difficult tactical problem into
it. They describe a hypothetical situation to the computer and then ask
the pivotal question: attack or retreat?

The computer hums away for an hour and then comes up with the answer: YES.

The generals look at each other, somewhat stupefied.

Finally one of them submits a second request to the computer: YES WHAT?

Instantly the computer responded: YES SIR.

I do it because they entertain me and my cat and I love to watch the ground feeding bords..A few cardinals have learned to use my tube feeder but they prefer ground feeding.

This is a dull time for bird watching..I got my old bird journal out to check ..

I thought all the photinia berries were gone but they are not so I may have cedar waxwings come by..The youpon berries have been totally stripped off my tree so a flock of waxwings may have already been here during my absence.

Two of my most favorite birds Cedar Waxwing, and Cardinals.

Years ago, there was a Cardinal pair who lived and raised their young across the street from me. It was great watching the parents take the fledgling's out for feeding exercises.

Important Public Service Announcement

from My "Voices".....

UNDERWEAR IS IMPORTANT!!

Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle...

From the Northwest Florida Daily News comes this story of a Crestview couple who drove their car to Wal-Mart, only to have their car break down in the parking lot

The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed the car in the lot.

The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hand UP his shorts, and tucked everything back into place.

On regaining her feet, she looked across the hood and found herself staring at her husband who was standing idly by.

The mechanic, however, had to have three stitches in his forehead.

The cardinals "live" here in the ravine behind me and I get to watch the courting and the juveniles..I had a pair visit yesterday.

Cedar waxwings usually make a one or two time appearance..They are drawn to the photinia berries in February..There have been years when they haven't shown up to feast..and I miss seeing them..Lovely birds,

I have a chickadee and a titmouse at the feeder right now.
