I'm in Scottsdale and just happened to go outside to take my granddaughter to the car when I saw the "snow." It was actually ice falling, then it went back to heavy rain, then a minute later it switched back to soft ice, then back to rain, etc.

It was really freaky!

Interesting. Before we had the proper snow, we had similar stuff. We'd have little snow showers amidst the rain and then rain and finally it started snowing quite heavily. At first i didn't believe it really was snowing. I just moved here from Tennessee yet it snowed far more than i had seen in tennessee for years. So much for the warm winters.
