The heck they are. Methinks they doth protest too much.
I'm sure that Devlin's lawyers arranged that interview with the New York Post.
To: A Citizen Reporter
who knows, but in my opinion Devlin's lawyers are to inexperienced to handle this!

Thanks for the pings. I have been keeping up with the case. I believe the lawyers arranged for the interviews so that they can get him moved and start leaking the B.S. about his mental stability and etc. They will try to get him put somewhere for mental problems. I am praying for both families and just hope they are keeping tv's off and spending quality time with their sons. I hope some constructive conseling has been started and their lives can now be their own, and not the media's. Thanks loads for all your hard work. Denco

No, really I find it odd that you would say that. I'm not being funny. I wonder about your motives.
To: denco
you might be right about Devlin claiming mental illness. I do believe that are two different Devlin's, but they are both quite sane IMO! He should fry!

what do you mean, my motives?
here is the deal. Because Devlin's lawyers are not experienced enough for Devlin it could end up messing up the case. Devlin could come back after a guitly verdict and say his lawyers screwed up the case and be able to point to something they did wrong and the verdict could get turned over. I want this guy to fry, but I want it to be by very competent defense lawyers, not some idiots who could ruin it for the two boys who deserve justice.

I think you are spinning things in a very weird way.
If you believe that Devlin talked to the NY Post without his attorney's consent, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya.
You can't believe everything the press tells you.
To: A Citizen Reporter
i don't believe that Devlin talked with the NYPost without his lawyers advising it! I believe his lawyers put him up to it and told him to do it.
What I think is his lawyers are going to act like they never told him that and are going to ask to get him moved based on wanting to get him away from reporters. They are playing lawyer tricks, but I think they are not educated enough to know we aren't stupid and aren't falling for it.
I'm not spinning anything in a weird way. I know exactly what is happening!

I think the Sheriff's Department should arrange for an "escape" with no trace of this scumbag ever appearing.

"i don't believe that Devlin talked with the NYPost without his lawyers advising it! I believe his lawyers put him up to it and told him to do it. " Strange, because that's the exact opposite of what you said above. In the first post of this thread. Less than an hour ago.

I agree. I believe the lawyers arranged it. Your reasoning is probably right on. They want him moved out of the county.
To: denco
They will try to get him put somewhere for mental problems. After reading the NY Post interview, I think he's trying to sound like he's got the mental capacity of an eleven year old. Gee, I don't think he could've gotten into a prestigious Jesuit University if he was as dumb as he's trying to sound.
"They wanted me to write papers and stuff. duh."
