That's just the fear of the day. In the 70's we were headed into another ice age. Back in the 80's they almost destroyed the Northwest’s apple industry with the Alar scare, and the list goes on...
Many in society took their advice on the threat of a population explosion, which only led to dangerously low birth rates and demographics that imperil whole nations. Extinction seems to be the goal of the Left.
