Well said.

I am her same age, in fact when I was in the Army Security Agency up at Fort Devens, we used to hop in a car on weekends and go down to Auburndale and Wellesley in the fall of '69. I often wonder if I ever ran into young Hillary.

But what you say is so true.

You are always so wise.

Our Local Republican Party Executive Committee Lincoln Dinner for this Year to be held in March will not have a Political Person as Guest Speaker. We will instead totally Dedicate the entire Dinner to the Fighting men and women in the Armed forces. We will be particularly honoring the Men and Woman that are either, coming or going from and to Afghanistan and Iraq, Kuwait or in the War Zones. We will be honoring those that gave their all for our Survival. we will have Honor Guard and Patriotic Songs for all branches. I am sure that there will not be a dry eye in the House. I cannot wait....

Hillary avoids questions, but that wont last long.

It plays in NY, but not in a national.

This is a PR stunt. She will handpick the questions on her web site, then post her next speech on her web site answering her hand picked questions.

I will call CSPAN, and I'll ask some questions she cant answer. I promise that.

I do not think that there will be enough States that are willing to do that, because it goes against the original thoughts of the Planners, and does not sound very much like United States doctrine. I thought I read somewhere that Colorado was going to attempt this. I could be wrong, it was a Western State, cannot remember, it was not discussed much.

Even if only one state does it, it could throw the election. Say if Florida had such a law in 2000...

Our mission is to win. We need to try and get as many conservative objectives a possible but in the long run if we don't win....

Yes...it has gone awry...but, do you think Pres. Bush is responsible...or is it an institutional thing...because of employees that don't leave during the change of Administrations...so they do things like LEAK stuff if they don't like the current POTUS.

Or, in the case of Clinton...cover things up..or don't go after things because they LIKE the POTUS??

Look at the grief that he and Rummy have gotten over trying to restructure the military into the type we need to fight the kind of wars we have now..as opposed to in the WW's of the past.

He has tried to overhaul Social Security and even HIS party went against him....he tried to get some kind of reform in the education system for teachers and students to advance on MERIT...instead of the old way of just shuffling kids through with bad teachers.

He is getting grief..when it was Kennedy and other dems that screwed it up...and asked for a LOT more money.

IOW...Newt sure wants to point out the faults of others..and what hasn't gotten done...but he sure was in Congress himself...did he call hearings to clean up the bureaucracy??

I just heard Newt and he is truly a contradiction in terms. First he lays out a great position as to why the dems should not cut and run then he says he is a presidential candidate only if everyone else screws up. Very strange.
He still doesn't get it however, that the dems are the enemy every bit as much as the terror types. He still thinks you can trust them, silly guy.

The dems have a white woman running, a black man running, an hispanic man running...the only way I see to trump them is.........Condeleeza Rice.... and I'm only being a little bit facetious. We have a line up of an old white, crazy man, a mormon with the attendant baggage, and a New York lib with iffy health....draft Condi!

You will find out that this is how they dump people. Republican Women Leaders are kind of like A Gal that has a Boyfriend, but he is a Zero, so the Gal waits until something better comes along and slides the Zero out the door. This may sound too simplistic, but that is what happens. Keep mum, or fairly Mum until you get to know all the Players. I will freep mail you later and add a few suggestions that may help you out.

I had to finally mute Newt...he was making me darned near as irritated as I get listening the the dems.

IF our country is in as bad of a shape as he said today...then HE has an obligation to run.

I haven't heard any of the other candidates talking about how all of our government needs to be fixed...maybe it does...but he obviously is arrogant enough to think HE has the answer...so he should put his REPUTATION where his mouth is.

He can't get up here a WAIT until it is "screwed up"...and then look at Hillary in the White House, come on Fox News Sunday..and say "it is a darned shame, I could have beat her, but I didn't have enough time or money".

I have a terrible confession to make. I voted third party in '92. I didn't trust Bush-41, and I foolishly believed that Bubba would hurt the Dims badly if elected. It will take someone a hell of a lot worse than one of the current Pub frontrunner's to keep me from voting Republican again.

I think he is afraid of her, as most Men appear inclined. she just looks like the kind of Woman that would walk in the men's room after them to finish a confrontation that started in Public. They don't want to hear that shrew screaming at them and throwing things at them.

Hey thanks Sam.

Glad to know I was at least shrewd enough to figure out something was amiss here, my longish post notwithstanding.

I guess they might be trying to dump the newsletter editor but like you said, I should just sit on the sidelines and learn the topography.

It IS a political organization and suddenly it occurred to me that I was knee-deep in, eh, politics.

Good Idea. I want him to start showing those traitor Rats how mean he can be at times if he has to, and the time has come. Rusty Humphreys told a story about how he can bring someone down to size.

Of course they also don't want the women's group yelling that he is picking on her because she is a woman..NOT because she is not qualified.

But, if one of them were smart...they would point out that a lot of the countries that we have to deal with daily, especially regarding the WOT...have cultures that would BALK at negotiating with a country run by a woman..because they don't think women should even have jobs..(some of them).

Do they have the guts to say that it COULD compromise our ability to deal effectively on foreign policy??

Sure, they talk to Condi Rice...but they know she isn't the "decider in chief".
