Feral Shih Tzus roam Ga. condo complex MARIETTA, Ga., Jan. 19 (UPI) -- A small pack of feral, and very small, Shih Tzus has been evading capture at a Georgia condominium complex.
The group of four dogs first showed up at the Covered Bridge complex in Cobb County in the Atlanta suburbs around Thanksgiving. Since then, two of them have disappeared, including one believed to have been killed by a car.
The two remaining dogs appear to have reverted to their wild roots as the alpha male and female of their own small wolf pack -- albeit wolves that weigh about 7 pounds each. They have successfully evaded efforts by Covered Bridge residents, the manager and Cobb County animal control officers to trap them, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Tranquilizer guns are, apparently, not in order because they are designed for larger animals.
Gabriella Toth, a resident, is trying to catch the dogs with kindness -- providing food, water and even a dog house. She hopes eventually to give them a permanent home.
"People act as if they are 400-pound tigers," she said. "They bark a lot, but they are scared and don't know what else to do."
Raw liver in a Have-a Hart trap. Problem solved.
What a funny, sad story. I hope someone can help these little marauders.
"I saved you cried that woman, and you bit me even why? You know your bite is poisonous, and now I'm gonna die."
"Aw shut up, silly woman," said that reptile with a grin. "You knew darn well I was a snake before you took me in."
.22s are more fun, and the practice is more relevant to self defense if the target is moving and taking cover. The use of a high quality suppressor is reccommended so that the shooter does not disturb the children when they are sleeping. Hollow points will help the kids learn valuable biology lessons when they study the gut piles.
Shih Tzu Football. God I hate those dogs.
A friend of mine owns a fairly large blond one. He's a nice dog generally but if you're a stranger to him DO NOT put your face close to his. Not unless you want a French face transplant. Scary.
We have a couple of Shih Tzu's because our daughter wanted them. They are good little dogs, but they do not warm up to strangers, especially men too quickly. It is more because they are scared than anything else.
I have a fully equipped male barn cat with an attitude. He's looking for a fight 24/7. Glad to loan him out.

Somehow, the phrase "Feral Shih Tzu" cracks me up. LOL!

Well, our little Shzit loves EVERYBODY. "Hi, I'm Moondog - don't you think I'm cute?". Visits everybody. Loves everybody. Horrible breath!
We have one and a half shih-tzus (one is part toy poodle). Ours are very tame and freindly creatures. I commented to my wife that those feral ones shouldn't be that big a problem--if attacked all one need do is "kick the sh*t out of them."
She replied, "Then, you'd have feral tzus--not nearly as tough!"
