Plane was going the wrong way for illegal aliens.

It was Continental flight 1838, a 757-300. From
Flight Aware, it looks like the plane diverted around the time it would have entered Mexican airspace. It didn't go very deep into Mexico.
Sometimes I forget how large South Texas is. Houston is 300 miles from the Mexican border.
