If we had done some work before the primary, instead of letting the beltway and media pick Bush, we may have had a decent alternative to Bush. And the same people are trying to install a Rudy McCain this time, so we have just as little choice in '08.
A McCain-Guliani ticket in '08 would be just fine with me--Fiscal conservatives while staying the hell out of my bedroom and my grandaughters' bodies and the movies I choose to watch or books I elect to read --even though I read only military history, geopolitics and strategic studies.
