Elizabeth I was VERY dangerous to her enemies - the Catholics, the King of Spain.
The Romans thought Cleopatra QUITE dangerous. Octavian knew the threat she and Mark Anthony posed.
As for Catherine D'Medici, she too is a good example.
Who the heck is Emma Goldman? Bella Abzug's pen name?
Elizabeth was NOT "dangerous" to her own nation, England and not nearly as "dangerous" to Catholics, as her father had been. Nor would she have been any danger to them, if Catholics weren't plotting to usurp her throne.
You don't know who Emma Goldman was? You better go look her up and do some reading! LOL
Here's a hint....she was a quite rabid Socialist/Marxist, who went around this country preaching her cause and Alinsky learned quite a lot from her. No, really, he did! She went after the lower middle class; not just the "poor". She also "appealed" to the highbrow "intellectuals" of her day, from the upper middle class. IIRC, she was actually deported.
Bella Absug was TAME, compared to Emma Goldman, whom I'm sure was a heroine of hers. :-)
