Nobody's gotten his attention - he's only "talking" to them. Apparently, modern presidents like Clinton and Bush will only pardon the guilty.

Well, it's about time! I'm glad that somebody finally got Bush's attention on this. WE got his damn attention. And so did Hunter and Tancredo. Bush was content to let this disappear, but the people refused to let it go. If Bush pardons them, he shouldn't expect a thank you, either. He will have been dragged kicking and screaming into doing the right thing.
