It was a full month before he even got medical help and only then at our expense...

He was shot in the back and it took him a month to seek medical help?

BTW . I'm not trying to pick a fight .. just trying to learn the facts

Though I will say, the first one that calls me a OBL troll and I'll go back to ignore these threads

Why would I blame President Bush for this situation?

That you would even ask that question shows how far gone you are. When it comes to you, I will respond by using the age old, 'Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.'

That phrase was surly made for the likes of you.

Yes it was a full month before he was taken to the Army Hospital in El Paso to be treated.....That was after he was given immunity to to testify against the BP agents....The Doc who did the surgery testified that he was not shot in the back but in the front...Just like the agents claimed when they stated they had shot at him..They did not even believe that they had hit him..as he got ran and got into a van on the Mexican side of the border...The rest of the story even gets more interesting...It was his mother who contacted a mother and friend of another BP agent and then it was reported to the US District Atty office that a investigation was started....That agent just happened to be a life long friend of the drug smuggler...I have been reading accounts about this for some time...From many sources most in the news papers but some from family of the two border patrol agents...There is allot of questions to be asked why they even went after these two agents...There is several other threads on this subject and I have posted some links to the stores that I am talking about but you can do some search and find them also....I have stepped back from making some accusations against some in the government but I have my opinions on that subject...I just think they got a raw deal...If you look back at one of my post today you will see a link that I posted on Johonny Sutton...It is pretty interesting...It seems to may have allot more explaining to do in the future...

Seeking information is not trying to pick a fight...This brings out allot of fighting...There is allot of information available now if folks will take the time to do some searching....Crimes against our agents is up in nearly all sectors of the border...Read the Yuma Sun newspaper in Yuma AZ and type in border patrol in the search...It will give you tons of information on what is going on at our borders....Lots of drugs and illegals continue to flow through our borders....I believe those that serve us on the border are not different that those that serve us in Iraq and deserve the same respect..If you read what happened with three of the jurors who have since come out and stated that the jury foreman told them the judge would not allow a hung jury and they changed from not guilty to guilty...The since regret doing so...I believe now that so much heat by the congress and Americans who are upset with this that a pardon is coming and soon...That is my wish anyway...

That article makes the best case for the two Border Patrol agents, Compeon and Ramos

Senor Bush damn well better pardon these agents if he wants their active-duty buddies to do their jobs.

If I was a border patrol agent I'd just wave them through.

Beats going to prison.

Probably. LOL Seriously though, rude comments to each other aren't necessary and I do apologize for my snide remark.

This issue is a hot button topic for many people. Blame it on my upbringing, but I was taught that we are responsible for our actions. And in this situation, unfortunately, these two border agents made some poor choices, and they are paying for it. However, I'm not convinced that they should have received the long jail sentences. I have a feeling (only a feeling, no facts to base it on) that their sentences will be reduced.

Scan a few of the following for some details. There are always multiple sides to most events. The varying sides are presented to a jury for the jury to decern the truth as they see it and render a verdict. The jurors heard the case and found them guilty on 11 of the 12 charges filed against them. Now it's up to the Appellate courts to determine if there were trial errors or other reasons to set aside the verdict as render, remand, or what other legal options are availble...

It's a chore just to try and keep some perspective to this event.... Facts, trial, conviction by a jury, sentencing under guidelines prescrible by congress based upon the law with which they were convicted all seem to go out the window in favor of these are good honorable men..... Ramos and Compean are now convicted felons until cleared by our system of justice through the Appellate courts.

That is an excellent article. Any doubters on the guilt or innocence of Ramon and Campean should read this accounting.

Bookmarked.

Ts funny that the Democrats were picked to run Congress by the Majority of the people ,is that the same majority that is fed up with illegal immigration? Seems illogical does it not? Probably the same majority that will now be calling for the election of the Hildabeast.
I wonder what Lou Dobbs thinks of Hillary running and he still has not told us what the position of the democrats on illegal immigration is ,all he says is that Bush favors amnesty ,Well unless the Democrat congress gives him legislation granting that amnesty he has nothing to sign,I guess that would be the idiot Bush once again misleading the country and duping the intellectually superior democrats to support a policy they obviously oppose and that dope Bush will lie to them and once again bring shame onto the country

I apologize as well. That's why I put a smiley face on. I was rude.

It is a hot topic and tempers will flare because of it.

I have a feeling (only a feeling, no facts to base it on) that their sentences will be reduced.

I hope for more than that, I hope they're exonerated.

Have you read the link post # 49 posted by calcowgirl?

I had not heard about the second 1000 lbs. of pot bust. Immunity for a second major felony after the original van full? The prosecutors that arranged that are the ones that should be in jail.

International business huh-hmmmm... University of Texas at Austin

I'd raise an eyebrow at him being a teasip, but I went to the UT Business School (it wasn't McCombs school then, they named the b-school after a car dealer from San Antonio but that's another rant) and we were an island of conservatism in a sea of barking moonbat liberals so I guess he's off the hook for that.
