Thanks for the article, it speaks directly to why we should CAIR about CAIR and its modus operandi and purported mission in a post-9/11 world BumP.
CAIR is the Islamist spin machine. They will lie about everything including the number of Muslims in the US.
The above has summarized some criticism of CAIR, including their laughable population claims, which I regularly hear repeated in the media and on FoxNew tonight. They weren't challenged on this lie on Fox where just let it slip by.
Take a look at the crackpot methodology that CAIR uses(From the Wiki Link):

That said, even more depressing - threatening - to see Northwest Airlines capitulating to the Islamists; yielding. . .and by no small posturing here. Where even a 'bow' is too much; Northwest has exercised a full, to the floor, prostration..
Did you notice how he started out with the seven Million Muslims lie early in his appearance?

Convincing the Republican Party that Muslims number 8 million, for example, led to urgent calls from its chairman for "meeting with [Muslim] leaders," something which becomes less of a priority when the Muslim population turns out to be much smaller.
Knowing the real number of Muslims will, most immediately, likely impede two militant Islamic efforts now underway: one (pushed by The Minaret magazine) to get Americans to acknowledge that their own misdeeds partially caused the atrocities of Sept. 11; and another (led by CAIR) to halt the U.S. military campaign in Afghanistan. The longer-range implications will be yet more significant..."
Most of the people I know (in the US) from Islamic countries are not Muslims -- rather are Christians who fled the Islamic tyranny.
It's interesting that "American" precedes "Islamic", as though to imply it's America's responsibility to make the relationship nice and workable.
I've been asking myself the why is 'American' in their name question from the first I saw one of those CAIR scumbags interviewed.

Everything else that comes from CAIR is propaganda and lies.
For the same reason it appears in "People for the American Way", and other enemy entities.
They think we are idiots. And enough are, that it works.
CAIR is bankrolled by the Saudis. Its a trojan horse to weaken the US for an islamic takeover.
