I think so, but I am no expert. But it is a a matter of birth, I think. If one's father is a Muslim, you are a Muslim. So Muslimness is passed down from his grandfather. But Sharia law has not yet been embraced by Justice Breyer as a foreign text with meaning in American law yet.
