But Churchhill really didn't have any either.
May I gently suggest you read about Winnie a bit before making such statements? He graduated Sandhurst before he was 21. He served in India, he acted as an observer in the 19th century with the Spanish Royal Army as they battled Cuban guerrillas (he came under fire in that assignment). He was in a CAVALRY charge with Lord Kitchener's troops in the Sudan in 1897 I think. He was in a Boer concentration camp in South Africa and had WAY more experiences (such as the First Lord of the Sea who moved the Royal Navy from coal to oil) that made him WAY more qualified than pro-gay, pro-gun control, pro-abortion Rudy.

Thx. For the most part, Winnie was a journalist however. I can't determine if Winnie was a journalist when he was with Kitchener in the Sudan in 1898. But for the most part, he recorded when he wasn't escaping (as in S Africa).

Of course, his role isn't diminished whatever his entry to the action.
