"So what's the problem? :)"
"(The Tedster was) shouting offensive remarks about non-English speakers"

Well, if they don't understand English then they couldn't have been offended, right?
No problemo! ;^)

How come all the PC whiny little bitches never complain about all the Che Guevara shirts or the propaganda rags that wackjob Cindy Sheehan and her comrades wear?

You are so right on! If we had more men like Ted we wouldn't be slugging it out with the lib/socialists so much. They would be afraid to come out of their holes! And, we would have America back!

"I think it was a horrible choice," GOP strategist Royal Masset said. "I hope nobody approved it."

Number 1 problem with the GOP today. Gutless turds.

I'm surpirsed the GOP girly-men "statagists" would even invite an un-PC rocker like Ted in the 1st place. Did they think they could hand him a script and make him follow it like all their other LaRaza Lovin' B-bots?

"Whenever someone sports the Confederate battle flag, many Texans will be offended, and rightly so, because of what it symbolizes: the enslavement of African-Americans and more recently the symbol of hate groups and terrorists," said Gary Bledsoe, president of the Texas chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

The funny thing is: Slavery existed longer in North America under the British and then American flags, than it ever did under the Confederate Battle flag.

Terrorists??

Since when has Osama bin Laden, Hamas et al, ever flown the Confederate Battle flag?

Technically, there were three National flags of the Confederacy the first one being the Stars and Bars that flew over Ft. Sumpter

The second National flag was called the Stainless

and was flown for most the war until the final months of the conflict where it was modified to this design.

So it would be more technically correct to say those flags represented slavery.

The flag that has everyone's panties in a twist is more correctly known as the flag of the Army of Northern Virginia.

Or the Naval Jack

Since it was those two that probably had the most exposure due to the number of units that flew it, it has become the de facto flag of the Confederacy, but that distinction is incorrect.

Gee. The anti-white, anti-Semitic bigots at CNN disapproving of Nugent. The pain.

We should all have equal rights to do so whether it's right or not, Although we also should be smart enough & sensitive enough not to do it. My only problem with this is that the mainstream media & critics only dump on the Anglo White man when it comes to a sensitivity issue and quite frankly i'm tired of it, even though I personally wouldn't have done it.

If this was a statement about the south, he missed. It's also not about state's rights. If it were, he would have worn the Confederate State National flag as you illustrated.
Sorry to see he showed a battle flag. A flag that was used to signal the start of a battle to kill American Soldiers. No thanks. You and any other person has the right to show that flag. I have every right to call that person something other than an American.

I saw Nugent in concert and I'll tell you if I ever were elected anything I'd have him play the victory party.

Just his being there probably offended most of the population!

True statement. His ranch up the road and Austin are worlds apart. He might as well have been playing on a different planet.
