I will never forget seeing Nuge at the 2nd Freedom Concert singing Cat Scratch Fever... I think he's quite a refreshing voice from all the button-downed pansies who claim to speak for conservatives.

LULAC will hit him up for a donation. For only dollars a day he can provide the necessary seed money for a deserving family to pay a coyote's high fees to help them into this wonderful land.

"What's the problem here?"
Gee, I dunno. I see things on MTV a lot worse.

I'm liking Ted more and more. The confederate flag is about states rights. I think if the tenth amendment every single time I see it.

It may have been a deliberate act to draw Rick Perry some flack for selling out Texas and conservatives.

Ted was quoted in the past as saying...If you come to my country, speak English or get the **uk out.

I agree with him on that. Ted can be over the top but he is a good conservative even if he is rude and crude.

One thing he is NOT is a racist!

Using machine guns as props, Nugent, 58, appeared onstage as the final act of the inaugural ball wearing a cutoff T-shirt emblazoned with the Confederate flag and shouting offensive remarks about non-English speakers, according to people who were in attendance.

Ummm... yea... ummm... he behaved exactly like Ted Nugent... Duh....

> Nuge's own response to this is here

So according to Nuge, the facts of the performance are all captured on videotape as a matter of record and there is no substance to the report.

So, in essence, the report and all commentary therein are all FILTHY LIES.

How typical: the media is not reporting the story, they are creating it, out of pure thin-air fantasy -- and then letting it out of the bag to see where it runs.

Goes to show how far the media has declined in the short time since the beginning of the Vietnam War. Joe Gallagher recorded truthfully the events at Ia Drang in 1965 and by so doing recorded History in all of its magnificence. (And, as a happy byproduct, made friends-for-life with real American heroes: not requiring media manufacture like the hapless-and-innocent Pvt Lynch some 40 years later.)

Where are the Joe Gallaghers of today? You know, the *real* journalists??

(In NZ they work for the suburban newspapers, the ones that come for free in the mailbox complete with real estate listings. Newly-minted College grads, mostly. Often first with the real scoop, and usually balanced and factual: they make a pittance and then move on to Big Media where they get corrupted. It is as sad as that!)

"I think it was a horrible choice," GOP strategist Royal Masset said. "I hope nobody approved it."

Does the "big tent" include wussies now too?

"...shouting offensive remarks about non-English speakers..."

What a brilliant political move!!

I knew the Republicans would come up with a new gimmick.

I had to hire undocumented immigrants (illegals) just to help remove my halo that night. I was so PG13 I offended myself. to fail to bring anguish to liberals would be the definitive evidence of one's inconsequentiality. I glow on.

More from the Nuge. He HAS to have an FR account lying around.
