The village of Fago in Spain: mayor murdered Police are considering the entire population of the village as suspects
It Takes A Village?

Thanks, but I've already seen this one.
I remember this from The Simpsons; Maggie did it.
It would be interesting to know how the mayor kept his position for 12 years even though all of his constituents hated his guts. I guess it must be an appointed position.
Sic Semper Tyrannis
So what's the problem? People got rid of an insufferable martinet little dictator. Hope there's plenty "I didn't see nothin', officer".

Fago is not New York, for which Mayor Bloomberg may be eternally thankful.....:)
How'd this little nazi keep getting re-elected?

Trust no one. Suspect everyone. No one is to leave town.

That book was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the headline :)
Mayor Grima (wormtongue)
Fago (Lago)
What a tyrant. One has to wonder how he got elected, and how he stayed in office after using his office to ruin his business' competitor.
The mayor was the only real human in the village, the rest of the population were robots and they rebeled, I saw this on the "Twilight Zone" 40 years ago.
Maybe the next mayor will actually represent what the people want.
We had a revolution once.
Just imagine what a jerk the guy he beat out in the last election was.
Anyone else remember Skidmore, Missouri?
