You're right, of course. The Mainstream Media will ignore any and all evidence of Venezuelan repression, corruption, expropriation of property and economic failures just as they have continued to do in Cuba for 48 years.

So everything in Caracas will be bright and rosy and hopeful and fresh-scrubbed smiling children will have free education and health care and subsidized apartments where they'll dance gaily around Maypoles all year long as food falls from the sky under the benevolent sunny smile of Uncle Hugo. Yes, nothing will ever go wrong, except if it can be blamed on the United States.
