"Screed"? "McCarthy"? Take off your hat and stand up respectful when you say McCarthy, boy! Try listening to Rush once in a while and get yourself fixed up. Then come back and try again. We'll wait.

Well, with the climate as it is... I think the question has to be asked.
If "conservatives" sat at home because of this or that during a time of war to prove a point... when we have cells in this country and CAIR chipping away at our legal system... I ask them:
"Are you now, or have you ever been a defeatist?"
This is not a game, political or otherwise. Will it take a Beslan to wake this country up?
It's not a screed when I talk to troops who think this is their only refuge... only to see trolls or dissent because of one issue or the other. Remember, the troops and their families (including those gold star fathers and mothers that gave their children for our continued freedom), read this forum as well. Sometimes it's not "all about me and my one issue". If we don't squash this, the rest means nothing. If we spent more time getting in touch with our representatives instead of bloviating to no purpose (while lowering the morale), it would be be productive.
That you use his name as a pejorative and as many a fellow traveler, pinko, and/or card carrying Commie did and still doesm says much about YOU; far more than you realize.
