Well, so far our casualty rate is far, far lower than that of WWII.
I bet most military families would support President Bush's plan vs. Franklin Roosevelt's.

I would almost bet that most military families would much rather have their sons and daughters fighting in a war as if we were there to win it. We should have learned from Vietnam that pacification and winning the hearts and minds of the people has little reward. The only thing that the Arabs and insurgents respect is overwhelming force.
