I wasn't scolding you for your position, just defining it and your response here confirms my understanding of it. Whatever you believe about the war, what you are saying is that we are fighting it wrong and are losing which is pretty much the point of jveritas' rant. jveritas might have been scolding you but only if you accept his statements as applying to you. Do they?

I say you are misreading what is happening in Iraq but you still the right to be wrong. You also have the right to feel as offended as you choose, right or wrong.

If my post bothers you, hit the abuse button. I really don't see either of us doing that, but you never know.

Even the President acted on the belief that we need to change some things in Iraq. Relaxing the rules of engagement among them. Making clear to Maliki that we need to engage ALL trouble makers, not just the Sunni troublemakers. Is Bush a traitor?

Only the fool hardy will redouble their efforts and expect a different result.
