I don't think we have even begun to plumb the depths of what this case is all about. I have no doubt the deal worked out was nothing more than a hopeful attempt to keep the full details from being disclosed.
And I have no doubt the President was a part of the mix. I don't know why he has been so reluctant to pursue some of the actions of the Clinton years, but there simply has to be more this whole thing than we know at this point.
I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with the nine hundred or so FBI files that made their way to the Clinton White House.
What I wouldn't give to get a president that goes after wrong-doing and the wrong-doers with the full force of the federal government. Sigh.

I can see where being soft on Washington politicos would make you a good candidate for a Federal judgeship.
