Frankly, none of them seem to give a rip about real news and injustice. The talkers are more concerned about "24", American Idol, what they are eating .....
Telephone calls to the DC idiots don't matter a rip unless there are thousands of them. Then, they take notice. In my past experience of working in the political arena, all the DC idiots care about is staying in power. The country, our security, anything else has a much lower priority. Getting elected and reelected is foremost in their power-hungry, egotistical pea brains.
When they receive thousands of telephone calls and emails, they perk up because they figure the "common folk" or peasants are upset and they better take action to placate them.
