Every bit as disturbing as what Soros & Co. are trying to set up, is the recognition of just HOW MUCH MONEY from every kind of contributor gets pumped into the coffers of the National Committees of both parties and the war chests of individual candidates, and all the money put into establishing "organizations" charged with the task of activist propaganda and other virtually "virtual" objectives--just consider a ten year slice, say from 1994 to 2004, and the amount is probably into the hundreds of millions. The amounts are HUGE from BOTH sides, and what is the ultimate objective? Seems to me it does nothing but feed the gridlocked status quo, and finances an abstract "dream" not mutually shared by both sides.
Think of what could be done with that money, if only it could be diverted into structural change. The never to be overcome obstacle here, of course, is that both (D) and (R) want and need the money ONLY to finance their massive organizations, as if to keep a perpetually expiring patient on LifeSupport, with a bill of lading as ludicrously overpriced as a $500 Pentagon hammer.

CORRECTION: The figure of hundreds of millions for a ten year period should probably be increased by a factor of a hundred. ANYONE out there have actual figures?
