Along those lines, I think I saw that original show on Talent Scouts when he "found" The McGuire Sisters.

Godfrey had a wonderful, amiable ambling way on TV and radio but it is said he could be a bit of a tyrant to some of his associates. Oh well..........

I just went in and turned off local talk radio. Our regular host is off and the sub is Tom Rose from Gary Bauer's group. In his little pipsqueak voice he is griping that the President doesn't want to win the war. I found it disgusting that such a leech is on TV giving armchair general opinions.
