I guess I don't have to hold out hoping that the President would do the right thing and pardon these two before they went to prison. But, what do you expect from somebody who is all talk when it comes to the problem with the border.

If he's not going to pardon Scooter Libby, who is the victim of a political witch hunt, and a friend, he's not going to pardon two guys who were actually convicted by a jury for shooting a guy in the back and covering it up.

Two patrolmen in Montana stopped a truck and, holding the driver, who had not resisted. At this point the driver was only stopped because he looked suspicious, As the Patrolmen attempted to handcuff the driver, still not accused of anything, one patrolman fell, the driver turned and ran toward the Canadian border as a patrolmen fired at the fleeing man, till his gun was empty and he continued to shoot, missing the driver. The second patrolmen fired once, hitting the driver in the rear. At no time did the driver threaten the patrolmen.
The two patrolmen do NOT pursue the driver, instead clean up their brass and DON`T report the incident. They get caught, have a trial, and after only two and a half hours are convicted and sent to jail.
That is basically what happened. Now, cause the President won`t pardon these two liars, Mr Bush is a trader and should be impeached? Do we really want cops or border patrol agents acting as unsupervised judges and juries, shooting at people that are no threat to them? Should the President grant pardons to those that attempt to kill those that we don`t like. If so, maybe Sadammn has a cousin that would like to run the country.

So much for the "conservative" George Bush, who fancies himself the new Reagan, but never vetoed a spending bill, is now withdrawing conservative judicial nominees, lets this total miscarriage of justice go forward, is intent on securing the frontiers of countries 10,000 miles away while totally ignoring protecting our own borders. Thanks for wrecking the Republican Party, Mr. Bush. You're no Reagan and never were.
