Fantastic. I've been pointing out the disaster that TennCare is for a while now. I'm glad to see someone finally give it some ink.

Tenncare...geez. I wish the beast would just die at this point.

It was a royal disaster. No accountability built into the system at all. You had patients on 20+ meds demanding that they be paid for or they'd sue (with the help of special interest groups).

Just complete and absolute garbage.

"Fantastic. I've been pointing out the disaster that TennCare is for a while now..."

Now in all fairness, didn't TennCare do a great job of helping some of Harold Ford's friend & family get richer?

The program also is the basis for one of my favorite songs "TennCare Buzz" about people abusing oxycontin in Grainger County.

TennCare also helped many illegal aliens get the medical treatment they could not get in their countries. They were so grateful for that help that one of them even spit on my Mama in the hospital where she worked.

Yep, TennCare was just great.

[End of my sarcasm]
