And this border case is Bush's fault? How often should the President of the US insert himself into such prosecutions? I'm all for him pardoning the guys, but to pretend that this prosecution is the President's doing is silly.

Well the theory goes. W appointed the US attorney that prosecuted the case. It is his Attorney General that approved it. One stoke of a pen and it all goes away. After all he is in charge.

Where does the buck stop these days?

Will any Border Patrol agent ever use his weapon again? Will any Marine shoot a bad guy ever again when the Haditha case is done?

Do we have the rule of law or do we only fight for it in Iraq? When the common guy gets nailed for doing his job - it is ALL over.

How you doing other than that?
