We have only been told what he wants us to hear. I would like to know they why's and some of the details. I know Bush says he has plan to win, however he just changed course in the middle of the stream. What's his game plan now ?

Besides, since you have always known the presidents plan would you enlighten me as to why he has a NEW plan.

Why is he doing the opposite of the supposed "study group" why is he making the decision to do what his "own Generals" have said was not the way to do this.

21,500 more troops I can understand and agree with. Now what ? Punt, Drop back and go for the 4th down. What is his new plan ?

I am not pro or anti and I want us to win but what is the new plan

I did not mean to sound so flip, sorry!

The Presidents plan all along has been...we will stand down after they stand up.I have always understood that.

How has it changed?? Instead of just clearing,we are going to clear,HOLD and then build. Not really new,but it will be new strategy in Baghdad.

I am a believer, however....It may be with most of the world rooting for the terrorists, including close to a third of the United States,It will be tough. What happened to all the flags, support the troops etc.All the awards shows failed to even salute the troops. Not one person got up and said,I support the troops.Sure they say they support gays and aids, but that`s it.

As far as the Iraq study group??? It`s basically the same deal as the 911 commission, both the 911 comm and the Iraq study group are BIG TIME JOKES!!! Just look at who is on it.Several members are democrat operatives from the Clinton administration.

The whole thing was a joke.

Just my humble opinion

Actually I whole heartedly agree with most of your post however GWB has not told who is guiding him on this or what he is basing the reinforcements on. He has said what we want that it is going to be handed to the Iraqi's when prepared to do so.

The Iraqi study group was a farce yes however he is over riding what a lot of current military people have said is a bad call and it looks to me that Dubya needs to stop being so tight lipped and arrogant.

I strongly support the troop's having been born on an AF Base and lived USAF my entire life.
