Yep, I think this is about destabilizing Iran and Ahmanutjob. It is very stressful to keep a country, and it's military on a perpetual state of readiness thinking an attack is imminent. Eventually people get tired of it and want it to stop and start blaming their leaders for the disruption and stress.

I think the force deployment is not a prelude to any kind of generalized air assault or invasion of Iran. Rather, its a blunt message to the mullahs that if they do not stop their direct meddling in Iraq, they may have to pay a large price. We will see more tactical moves on the ground against the Iranian and Syrian agents in country (of which there are plenty).

The attack will happen for sure, but, in this stage, it looks like the US is goading or egging Iran ( Ahmanutjob ) into making a fatal mistake, or giving the freedom fighters/opposition forces time to get their ducks in order.

Yes, not everyone in Iran is as crazy as Ahmanutjob. Many entities have a lot to lose if there is a military showdown with Israel and/or the US. The rumblings seem to indicate that a nice political coup could be in the works, lol.
