Has anyone pinged that Freeper who was into swords? Speed addict or something? He said he was a felon who couldn't own guns, but was into martial arts. He said the time it takes to cross a room with a sword is just a fraction of what it would take to draw a gun and fire.
Anyone know who he is?

He said the time it takes to cross a room with a sword is just a fraction of what it would take to draw a gun and fire. But not as fast as using one of these for self defense, especially against a assailant weilding fruit!

While not the guy you're asking about, I have studied both arts extensively and
demonstrated that at normal CQB ranges both can be drawn and applied in practically equal time.
