With any luck, this whole episode MIGHT shame Boxer into silence for a while...
To: Aussie Dasher
If we're lucky, it'll goad her into shooting herself in the foot a couple more times.

No chance - the media consensus is that Condi Rice had it coming.

"What I was trying to do in this exchange was to find common ground with Condi Rice."
Baloney. Boxer was trying to insult Secretary Rice. And now she is lying through her teeth. Senator Boxer not only has no shame, but she has no integrity either.

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-California) says there was a point to her pointless jab at U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice as she testified last Thursday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee And the point is? Boxer (D-landoffruitsandnuts) is a clueless airhead
To: Aussie Dasher
I was just "speaking truth to power," says Boxer. "What I was trying to do in this exchange was to find common ground with Condi Rice."
"That's Dr. Rice."

My point was to focus attention on our military families who continue to sacrifice Barbara Boxer is a liar.
She's worse than a common liar, she got caught and tried to say she meant something else.

**** I was just "speaking truth to power," says Boxer. ****
I am heartily tired of this senselees, banal - trite phrase.
It assumes that the speaker possesses the truth whilst power never does.
How stupid is that?
Well, let me try it....GO CLEAN YOUR ROOM.

If I hear one more time how stupid Dr. Rice is, I'm going to lose it. I know Boxer didn't say this, but this looks like the current Dem talking point. A quick read of this lady's bio and you'd have to be a moron to not be really impressed.

I was just "speaking truth to power," says Boxer. Ah yes, the old canard of the radical left. Once it is invoked, any amount of disrespect and discourtesy is acceptable. What a crock.

""And let me just say, I fully understand the sacrifice that the American people are making and especially the sacrifice that our soldiers are making, men and women in uniform. I visit them. I know what they're going through. I talk to their families. I see it," Rice said."
Boxer's children are old enough to serve on active duty. Boxer's statement like everything else about her is false.

" I was just "speaking truth to power," says Boxer. "What I was trying to do in this exchange was to find common ground with..." I'm tired of hearing that hackneyed, overused phrase as an excuse for boorish, insulting behavior by liberals. Somewhere, sometime, some liberal is going to get a good fist in the kisser the next time they shoot-off their stupid mouth.

Doesn't Boxer's party have the majority in congress? Isn't Boxer part of the "power"? Does this mean that she thinks she is powerless? She's trying to talk like the "common folk" of the loony party.
Maybe she's not powerless but simply clueless?
