It is obvious that there is a double standard at work, as this article points out. If they were male teachers, all would be doing 40 years.
You got that right Loki.
If these were males they would rot in jail and be put on the list of sexual predators.
To be fair, a couple of them have not been sentenced yet, but I'm a bettin that the wrist slapping will continue.

Guilty!
Ping!
Joe Farah over at World Nut Daily must be slipping, I thought he had the franchise on all female-sexual-predator stories with the big 'Sex Crazed Teachers After Your Kids' banners, lol
Seriously, the double standard we see here is appalling. What is needed are mandatory minimum sentences for sexual exploitation of minors by teachers and/or adults in positions of authority over said minors.
Male or female, it wouldn't matter. Sexually exploit a minor, and the judge is required to send them up the river for no less than say, 7 years if the offender was 13 to 17, if under 13 years of age, 14 years minimum sentence.
That has to be one of the most confusing headlines ever written. (Is it the original headline?) I thought that female teachers were somehow punishing Utah because of stereotypes related to sex crimes.
