Is that out of the normal SOP?

The FBI escorting evidence from an NC prosecutors office to the NC AG. I can say for a fact, but no that does not sound like SOP to me.

In fact I wonder how this came about? Did the NC AG request this? One would have to expect that this is a sign that some combinaton of Wilson, Gottlieb and Himan are under investigation and this is a precaution against one of their friend "losing" some evidence in transit. I would think SOP would be someone from the Durham Co. DAs office or the DPD would take the evidence to the NC AG.

No, it isn't. It's odd. I think we will hear more about this. Has the AG enlisted the assistance of the FBI?
