So Karla Holloway just happened to be in Burness's office at the time of the call. Unless he was on a speakerphone, the only way she would know what was said would be for Burness to tell her. Numbnuts just put himself right on the hot seat.

Holloway was playing Victoria Peterson to Burness's Mike Nifong.

He's either numnuts; or trying to prevent Karla from Resigning her TEACHING position. As I referred earlier, I wonder what her contract stipulates. If she quits based on "Duke" not defending her, does she still get in cash the rest of her contract "money" if she doesn't "teach"? And, another thought, by proxy, if he takes the heat, does this in some way defend Karla/Duke from being sued in civil litigation?

Hmm.
