Based on my recent experience in Colombia with their military, he'll have a fight on his hands. The Colombians think he's an idiot, and they're much better trained these days than the Venezuelan military.

I have attended many social events with the local American Chamber of Commerce.
At these get to gathers we usually had several top military leaders in attendance.
These guys were talking about Venezuela being a menace to Colombia back in 2000.
BTW-My sister-in-law is a maritime attorney contracted with the local Navy department.
Chavez is an idiot but still idiots can make lots of misery for their neighbors.
