Good catch. How about the ticket taker in the subway car last week. Do those guys even exist anymore?

Not on the subways in NYC, you pay to enter the station but the LIRR has ticket takers. THey walk through the cars a few times per trip.

They don't "take tickets" but transit cops randomly will ask people for their ticket. That's how it works in Houston anyway.
