"Vietnam", "Quagmire", "the Children", "Global Warming", "Hitler", "Traffic" and, the word du jour, "escalation", quite a narrow vocabulary for those so ostensibly well-educated.
The one I like is, "Any thinking person would agree that..." and you can bet that whatever comes next, I'm not going to agree with.
