I am very sorry to hear that, but hardly surprised.

I suspect it busted up b/c the eldest was getting to be a man and not taking it any more --- hence, the replacement.

He's screwed mentally for life, I'm sure.

I hope he can learn to deal with it. There's lots of help available for such cases.

The "My Name is Steven" boy managed to grow up and he did end up getting married and having children.

Unfortunately he died in a motorcycle crash at a very young age.

From what I saw of his parents, they aren't ever going to give up on their son.
