Footloose is a fictional film and I'm sure the gossip about a lot of PK's is just that, gossip. They are no more or less human than the rest of us, but because some prurient a-holes somehow think that PK's are supposed to be "better" than average, some how that makes their faults all the more salacious. What is said about PK's often says more about the prurient interests of the gossips.

Your own point makes one of mine Just becasue they come from a good family in a good town wih good neighbors does mean automatically mean they are good or that they always do good things. YOU put a victim on a pedastal as if they hold no responsibility whatsoever. You can do that if you like, but others won't and you shouold accept that for what it is...another's perspective that is not your own.
If you seek to protect your own ability to hold your own positions and your own perceptions, then you should spend more time protecting other's rights to do that very same thng and less time spewing venom at them for doing the very same thing you are doing.
You may feel that nothing is owed but don't expect others to coddle you and just fall ino line with your position. Spewing vitriolic statements wll not accomplish that so your effort is wasted. The family got something that most do not get and where I come from you return kindness, not just take your benefits and run. With the advent of your little blunder of trying to have it both ways, you have exposed yourself as simply trying to slam me because you don't like, and disagree with, the position I take due to the perception I have. This is characteristic of someone on the hard left, not unlike the way Cindy Sheehan treats George W Bush.
