First off, you're right. It is so unseemly that this boy's life is put out there for our speculation. That being said..I think that if he hadn't killed him before, he probably wasn't going to. Devlin knew the cops were looking for him. They had to come back with a warrant. If he was going to do something, seems like he would have done it already. I'm sure, in his weird way, the guy loved Shawn. They've been together, everyday, for over four years.

Yes, what was that all about; the cops talking to him, when they already suspected him, before first getting the warrant? That was a dumb move. I surely hope they kept somebody posted to watch the apt.
