KIRKWOOD, Mo. (AP) - While his alleged kidnapper was away at work, teenager Shawn Hornbeck apparently had access to a computer, and may have put photos of himself online and posted a chilling message on a site created by his own desperate parents: "How long are you planning to look for your son?"
A series of Web postings under the name "Shawn Devlin" - Devlin is the last name of the man suspected of kidnapping Shawn and posing as his father - came to light after Shawn's rescue from an apartment in Kirkwood last week.

"pretty much the same thing" I like that, it is like 'can be'.
If it was the same thing then you would not need to say 'pretty much'.
What you post there is a perception and you had better be careful about doing that.....you might get called a troll and told to leave.....oh wait, then you would be talking to yourself....kinda like you will be when I click post.
I will be satisfied when things fit. Without a trial nothing is going to fit. See that yet? No probably not. Like I said, please do move on.
i've been on FR for over 3 years and many on here know who I am, so I won't be called a troll anytime soon. However, your a newbie and already causing problems.
Why does your desire for things to "fit" outweigh ES's desire to be free from the continuing questions and demands for answers from prurient emotion based gossips such as yourself?
Here's a nice pic of ES with GWB only 6 weeks after her return. Look, no evidence of pregnancy or of having given birth (hips, breasts). Just a nice 15 yr old crime victim, deserving of not having to continually answer questions of dirty gossips like you.
And how do you know what threats were made? Do you have some inside source? If so, don't hesitate to share it with me. If not, maybe it would be prudent to wait and see what plays out here. I'm sure you and I can agree on who the actual criminal is here, but, as to the conditions of captivity, questions at this time seem legitmate.
IBTZ.
We now know he was taken at gunpoint. we are talking an eleven year old boy (at the time he was taken) and none of us will know the whole story until this comes to trial.
The missing boy, (1991) they are trying to link to Devlin now, was eleven when he disappeared and lived about the same distance as these boys from Devlin's home.
1) are you trying to blame Elizabeth Smart for a scumbag taking her from her home, by gunpoint, in the middle of the night? 2) This boy was not a runaway (per the newsconference today) he was forced to go with Devlin at ---- gunpoint! He was eleven years old.
People have to start thinking like a child, not as adults.
The police issued a statement today that said Devil threatened to kill him and his family.
Even Elizabeth Smart wouldn't admit who she was until she was absolutely convinced she would not be returned to her captor.
BTW, the neighbor was on Gretta Monday night and he was very strange in his own right.
"taken at gunpoint." Wow! That is something I hadn't expected. Will check up on the news later tonight. Thanks for the post.
Very interesting. Thank you. But do the circumstances of her recovery bear that out?
Thank you for that update. Will check in with the news in a little while. So, this boy was a great believer in the Devil, was he? Interesting...
I saw the presser. Taken against his will at gunpoint, Happened very rapidly. Said no comment to the questions...if Shawn tried to escape, sexual molestation or Shawns time spent with Ben.
The DA stepped up and in a very firm voice talked about the stupid questions like why didn't he leave, he had freedom why didn't he tell someone. His answer to those questions was...."educate yourself"
That's chilling, but not unexpected.
Yes, it absolutely does and did.... I take it you didn't follow the case when she was found.
No, it isn't. I saw Arlen's mother last night on Gretta. 16 years and she still is so emotional the uncle had to answer most of the questions.
"educate yourself." That doesn't seem like much of an answer, does it?
