Manbearpig is alive and well. He's working under the alias 'Stormy' for the Carolina Hurricanes as a mascot.

Sounds like they have to give away free tickets even in Boise.
Is it cold there for a global warming rally ?

Just Googled the Arena info. Gore is speaking at 7 p.m. I wonder how many kids will be giving up their evening just to hear AlGore. Jesse Jackson is slated to be there on Jan. 17th at 7:30. No info on anybody offering free tickets to his performance.

Boise is 250 miles west of me. We've had overnight lows between -9 and -6 over the last week. Daytime highs have been 6 to 14 degrees. It's warming up. We're expecting a low of 1 above zero and a high of 14 tomorrow. By Sunday it will warm to the mid 20's. Warm enough for snow...and it's in the forecast again.
I can't believe anyone would waste time listening to Al Gore. Unless they needed a large volume of hot air to warm up.
