Yep...I saw that post-mortem pic of dead Saddam and there was a nasty gash around his neck where his head almost popped off. , where the rope was too lonf for his body weight. You'd think that their American advisors would go back and find some of the trade standards from Old West hangmen, who were quite professional in their craft and had everything down to a science.

I think the standards are in the Army Manual. Maybe we are taking such a hands off approach that we don't care to advise them.

Yeah. I never heard any objections from those hanged by order of Hangin' Judge Parker at Fort Smith.
