Mr. Wexler needs to learn four words that the non victim mentality uses to deal with obnoxious people. Does he really think that his was the first time this driver emptied his spleen? Is he the only person in the world who has ever listened to an ignorant rant?

So he met a jerk, big deal, the world is full of them. Now he's shaking in his shoes because a taxi driver knows where he lives. This guy needs to grow a set of cahones.

He also needs to stop being a wimp and tell people like that to - "STFU."

I am constantly amazed at people who use a "car service" to go places.

Why? I go for trips that often exceed 10 days, it's cheaper to pay for car service then paying to park for 10+ days. I don't have to worry about my car getting broken into/damaged, and they take you right to the terminal, none of the shuttle bus garbage to deal with. You can sleep to/from and it's just one less thing to worry about.

He should file a complaint with the man's company AND with the police because there was a violent threat. At least then he can get a restraining order against the man.

What they going to charge him with? Hate crime? Forgitaboutit. The damned police will not charge a black with a hate crime. I think he lives in California; they aren't allowed to carry guns unless the Sheriff says its ok and most won't.

I live in Maryland where the laws are similar, and I don't allow anybody to tell me whether or not I can defend my life. But I wasn't even talking about carrying; I was suggesting that if this wimp is afraid his wife is going to be attacked while he's out of town, which is what he stated in the article, then a gun solves that problem nicely.

To be honest I have zero sympathy for people who say they are afraid of this or that but then refuse to take the step necessary to rectify the situation. They're more scared of guns and political incorrectness than they are of the bad guys.

There was a special on PBS last night about antisemitism throughout the ages. I happened to only be able to glance at a little bit of it, but wow....eye opening. Jews have been hated by everyone, including vehemently by Christians from about 70 AD on. In the 12th century, Jews were accused of kidnapping Christian children, killing them and draining their blood to be used in Matzo's. Today the Arab world accuses Jews of the same thing and Islamic television systematically and routinely broadcasts antisemitic propaganda.

It was very eye opening to see the way that Arab leaders openly accuse Jews of being in league with the devil and with being behind all of the worlds problems.

If this continues, there will be a time (again) when anyone who practices anything that remotely resembles "Jewish" religious practices will be persecuted the same as Jews for their faith.

I drew my Jewish political lines around who saw the world as victims and those who saw the world as accepting. Victims were right wing. Those who saw acceptance were more liberal.

I'm afraid he's not perceiving things rightly in this particular instance. Nobody opposes Jewishness in all its forms like the proponents of the left do.

I think the taxi driver is much more than just a simple jerk. When he said, "Maybe I am just going to now crash this car and kill both of us," well, the words say it all. Yes, the author is a Jewish liberal who keeps voting for the party which screws his people, but maybe experiences like this will help him learn someday.

If I had been the passenger in that taxi, I would take those threats very seriously. I wouldn't be "shaking in my shoes," but knowing that the taxi driver could end up not being charged, or being released on bail...well, I feel a lot safer with at least one gun in the drawer next to the bed, rather than having them all locked up in the safe. No shoe-shaking, just suitable precautions.

Israel is God's chosen people, this is a battle between God and Satan. The majority of Jewish people are JINOs and until they return to God or even better, their messiah Jesus Christ it will continue. But then again this is IMHO.
