Jeff Fuller writes: Can we quit it with this Kerry-like "Flip-flop" comparison? A "flip-flop" means to change ones position "the flip" and then to change it back "the flop". Kerry had tons of true "flip-flops" (I was against the war before I was for it before I was against it . . .) Romney has matured politically and seen the benefits of conservatism (call that a "flip" if you want . . . but there's no evidence of "flip-flops".)

Jeff, you cannot possibly really be this delusional.

I see, Mitt has to change his position TWICE to qualify as a flip-flopper. OK, by that standard, here are two:

1. Republican...then Independent...then Republican
2. Pro-life...then pro-choice...then pro-life

But for most non-delusional folks, just flipping from one position to its diametric opposite qualifies as a flip-flop:

3. For gays in the military...now against
4. For Kennedy's federal "gay rights" law...now against

Then there are the equally disturbing evasions or issues he HASN'T flip-flopped on:

5. Against Boy Scout ban on homosexuals....still against?
6. For federal Assault Weapons Ban...still for it.
7. For Brady Bill...now won't say where he stands
8. For tax-paid benefits to the partners of homosexual govt. employees...apparently still for them

Not sure how to characterize this one:

Against first state marriage amendment that banned homosexual "marriage," civil unions, or domestic partnerships...for second state marriage amendment that banned homosexual "marriage" but constitutionally created civil unions...against that same second state marriage amendment...for third marriage amendment that bans homosexual "marriage"

Mitt Romney, like Marylou Retton, an Olympic gold-medalist in flip-flopping.

Not to mention Romney's and his campaign's pattern of innocuous little statements that are just one shade short of the truth:

1. "I own a gun," then admits he doesn't.
2. "A close relative died of an illegal abortion," then turns out the woman was not related to him
3. "Has always been pro-life," which is, of course, a flat-out lie

Better realize that we aren`t going to get a pure
conservative as a nominee this time. So long as they maintain the War on Terrorism. On every issue Hillorat is worse.

Long-time, no-banter . . . how ya been Gary?

You're being decietful on the abortion issue (I cannot suppose you're just ignorant to Romney's record . . . you know it better than any ROmney-hater I know)

When was ROmney "Pro-life" politically before being "pro-choice" politically?

He's always said he's been "personally pro-life" (weak, I know . . . but that has been absolutely consistant) but please refer me to your source where Romney was politically "pro-life" before becoming politically "pro-choice." Also, the only label he's ever taken upon himself to describe himself is "pro-life". If he were such a political panderer tnen why didn't he go ahead and take upon himself the "pro-choice" label back in 1994 or 2002. His statements were very pro-choice as was his NARAL survey, but he never assumed the label of "pro-choice" even when it would have been to his advantage politically (he even repudiated the title when asked). He has not shied away from the "pro-life" label now that he's shifted.

AFA-Michigan (AKA Gary Glenn)

"Delusional" you say?

You must know something about "delusional" since I saw that you signed the letter with other 44 Romney-haters who think that "Romney is the Father of Gay Marriage."

http://www.massresistance.org/docs/marriage/romney/dec_letter/letter.pdf

To sign your name and confirm that you believe that faulty legal argument that lays the blame of Gay Marriage in Mass squarely on Romney himself (what about the activist judges, the gay rights groups, the dead-beat Dem legislature?) confirms that you must either be DELUSIONAL or be so hell-bent against Romney that you would sign anything that could hinder his candidacy.

It's funny though . . . despite all the "flurry and fury" of anti-Romney folks of late (YouTube Videos, "The Mitt ROmney Deception", your recent letter, Brownback getting some no-name Mass Conservatives on-board, etc . . . combined with attacks from the DNC and liberal MSM) ROmney has been steadily rising up as the favorite of GOP insiders and even GOP bloggers

This following link show's how Romney's been rising steadily . . . and the attacks over the past few weeks have only helped strengthen him!

Keep the attacks up!! They seem to be working!
