But, you see, the loud mouthed ones are only voicing what the rest are feeling. If a Republican politician can't inspire confidence in conservatives, why are they blamed for his failure?

I disagree that the loud mouthed are representative of the group as a whole. They would like this mantel, but ain't agonna happen.

Here's what republicans should do ... Campaign and contribute in positive ways for the candidate of their choice during the primary season. They should not campaign against the opponents of their candidate of choice during the primary season. After all, they might have to vote for their candidate's opponent in the general.

It seems that the non-religious republicans follow the edict, but the loud mouthed, (not all of 'em), religious conservatives want to take their ball and go home if they don't have their way. Yeah, if they think they could have their Fundamental Party and do their own thing, I wouldn't mind. It ease rather tiresome to continuing to hear their threats and intimidation. Let 'em leave and let 'em decide who they want to vote for in the general election. If their candidate were viable, I'd consider him.
