Do you really think President Bush should not apologize for the 3,000 Americans who died in Iraq and the deficit spending that occurred under his pen in the past 6 years?

from the Eaglet: Do you really think President Bush should not apologize for the 3,000 Americans who died in Iraq and the deficit spending that occurred under his pen in the past 6 years?

No. I am sick to death of everyone's damn apologies and requests for apologies.

If I were inclined to want apologies, I would want apologies from the people who killed 3000 people in our country, and caused billions of dollars in damage to our country, in TWO HOURS, not in four years. And those deaths would have been higher, were it not for the actions of this President and his administration.

I would want apologies from that BJ loving sorry excuse for a human, piece of excrement president that preceded George W. Bush, and succeeded his father, Bush 41), who loathed the military, evaded the draft and who did nothing about the growing threat that - once again - a Republican president has had to go in and clean-up, at the cost of lives and finances.

I would also expect apologies from the blathering demagogues, such like "The Eaglet" (certainly not you, Peach) that pretend like 3000 deaths in four years is an abysmal failure, but deaths in numbers of the hundreds of thousands in previous wars is ok and noble...perhaps because they were started by Democrats?

People make their decisions. They stand by their decisions. That's how "real life" is. No more damn apologies.

Rant over...for now.

3,000 dead American soldiers plus more in Afghanistan and elsewhere is a tragedy.

That said, this President has been fighting global terrorism on the cheap. He has used other local Muslim alliances to fight our battles and thus saving American military lives.

You should apologize to the President for saying that he has cost our military a net loss in life.

As far a spending goes, outside of DOD spending and Homeland defense type spending which is justified, this President irresponsible spending is really about the Prescription Drug Plan.

But the President did campaign for the plan and the president did win the 2000 election based on a few hundred votes in Florida.

IMV, w/o PDB, we would have had Gore.

no he shouldn't apologize. He prevented who knows how many more attacks. The "instability" is caused by the release of the tyrannical hand of Hussein. Nazi Germany was stable... Communist Soviet Union was "stable"... democracy and the creation of republics is messy and argumentative. our own country was "unstable" during and for the next hundred years of it's creation.

God, libs are so f'ing stupid. How about getting the libs to apologize for the deficits in the welfare programs, for the destruction of the black populace in this country, for subverting our men in Vietnam.

By the way, the Congress makes up the budget. The RINO's trying to curry favor with the libs got us into more spending. They lost the election. good.

the rest of my post is unprintable due to the following request.....NO profanity, NO personal attacks, or violence in posts.

Do you really think President Bush should not apologize for the 3,000 Americans who died in Iraq and the deficit spending that occurred under his pen in the past 6 years?

Do you think that FDR should apologize for the 418,500 Americans that died in World War Two and the deficit spending that occurred under his pen?

If the Iraq War had never happened and if you were Commander-in-Chief in four years and Saddam then had nuclear weapons to control 70% of the world's know oil reserves, how would you deal with that?

Would you deal with it at all?

What would be the cost if you didn't deal with it?

What would be the cost if you did?

If the Allied Powers had attacked Nazi Germany as soon as Hitler renounced the Versailles Treaty in 1936, people like you would be asking, "Is Roosevelt going to apologize for the 3,000 Americans who died in Germany in 1936?"

No- the qestion is- do you actually think President Bush SHOULD apologize for those who have died in service tho their country?

I have friends who have (family) soldiers who have been KIA in Iraq. Not ONE of them expects, wants or is demanding an apology from the president.

Yes, not only does Peach believe it but so do I. The only ones who should be appologizing for 3,000 american deaths are the muslim terrorists who actually killed them and the obstructionist liberals who helped them and continue to help them by trying to cut and run. This includes the ones on this forum who pretend to be conservatives, such as yourself.

President Bush[43] doesn't have anything to apologize for. Those that should apologize are the members of congress that would only give President GW Bush [41] limited authorization and capabilities in '91. If we'd gone in and finished the job during Desert Storm, instead of completing half the job then pulling out, the Iraqi's wouldn't be so hesitant trusting us now.

Instead of expecting an apology you should be on your knee's thanking the Good Lord for our President who has spent every waking hour since his first inauguration, keeping us safe from further attacks, a job that's become so much more difficult since November 7th 2006, when the idiots in this country gave the power to the enemies of this great nation.
