If Patton was around he would start a war with Iran and make it look like the Iranians started it. And he would be in Tehran by Sunday morning.
The thing is Iran is supposedly a semi-democracy. In todays environment we can't just attack them without provocation. How would Patton deal with that?(Brainstorming)

Well no kidding. Things were much simpler in the ole days of WWII. Just put some force to bear, and, voila. Done. Folks have no idea what real war is. There hasn't been 'real' war since WWII when we incinerated cities and whole populations. I guarantee we bring that back things would change real quick.
