Further left on what issues? There's quite a long list to the left of Rudy on the war alone.

Name one GOP President candidate that comes closer to MSM on more of the issues than Giuilani. Not Romney, not Huckabee, definitely not Hunter or Tancredo ... not even McCain.

He's in agreement with them on abortion, gay rights, virtually every other social issue and immigration. Of all the GOP candidates, Rudy has to be the choice of liberals.

Just as I would prefer the most conservative candidate possible on the Democratic ticket (possibly Bob Casey), liberals would prefer someone with Rudy's views over any other announced Republican.
